3D2N Danum Valley Eco-Adventure

Meet at Lahad Datu Airport (MH3014 ETA 0900) and proceed on to Danum Valley Field Center Area (DVFC) for a 2 and half hours’ drive in. Get registered upon arrival at DVFC reception, and followed by an informative tour at the ‘Exhibition Gallery’. Following lunch, take a break or opt for a self-guided walk along the 500m nature trail for an introduction to the rainforest. Keep watchful eyes around and the area abounds with wildlife and is common to spot Orang Utan, and other animals. Following dinner, take a ride for a night drive in search for wildlife.

Upon reaching the Centre, take a moment to unwind and rest your weary legs. If you’re up for more exploration, embark on a fascinating visit to the Old Burial Site/Coffin Trail. This intriguing journey will take you on a 1.7-kilometer trek from the Centre, leading you to discover the historical significance of the area. In the evening after dinner, prepare for an enchanting night walk in search of nocturnal wildlife. Accompanied by experienced guides, you’ll venture into the surrounding vicinity, where the secrets of the night come alive.
