Late morning pick up from your hotel in Sandakan at 9.30 am, embark on a drive towards Kinabatangan making a stop at Gomantong Cave known for its bird-nest, the cave looks magnificent with vast chambers and splinters of light shooting onto the caves. Be ready for the creepy crawlies, with the bird-droppings attracting the cockroaches therefore cover shoes are strongly recommended. Upon arrival at Sukau, enjoy the pristine jungle landscapes and have lunch by the jungle edge. Your guide will take you on an hour nature walk on a nearby trail and enjoy some light refreshment before hop on the boat for 4 pm afternoon cruise along the Kinabatangan river banks, in hope for proboscis monkey, gibbons and the common hornbills soaring the skyline. By 6 pm get ready for your transfer back to Sandakan city to your hotel.
