Discover an exhilarating journey through the heart of Mulu National Park as you embark on a 5-day tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Experience the thrill of climbing the Pinnacles and trekking the legendary Headhunters’ Trail. As you ascend above the lush tree line, a breathtaking panorama of the sprawling canopies unfolds, offering a newfound perspective.
To reach the Pinnacles, the adventure begins with a scenic longboat ride along the Melinau River. From there, a 9 km trek leads you to Camp 5, where you will spend a night surrounded by the wonders of nature. The following day, prepare for a challenging 2.4 km hike up the Pinnacle Summit Trek, where the majestic Pinnacles await.

Jungle trek
Upon arrival at Mulu Airport in the morning, our guide will transfer and assist with the check in at the Mulu National Park accommodation (Longhouse Room). After lunch, depart for a 3 km plank walk to both the Deer Cave and Lang Cave. One of the spectacular sighting is to observe the millions of bats coming out from the vast mouth of the Deer Cave which will be a memorable occurrence (Only during fine weather). Return to back to your accommodation and overnight.

After breakfast, depart on a long boat going up river towards the Wind Cave via the Penan settlement. Visit the settlement and observe the culture of this tribe. Proceeds on to visit Wind Cave and explore the limestone formation of this unique ecosystem. Continue the journey by plank walk to Clearwater Cave where more interesting stalactites and stalagmites formation can be seen. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the Clearwater summer huts, continue on the journey by longboat to Long Litut and then jungle trek for about 3 hours to Camp 5.

After breakfast, jungle trek up to the “Gunung Api” for about 3 km to view the magnificent Pinnacles. along the trail, you may come across the various species of interesting plants and flowers. After lunch, starts to descend back to Camp 5.

The trek today will go through the lowland forest to Kuala Terikan, which takes about 5 hours of trek. Continue by longboat down the Terikan and Mendalam rivers to the Iban longhouse, which takes about 2 to 3 hours.

After breakfast, depart longhouse by longboat to Nanga Medamit and continue journey by road to Limbang town. Transfer to Limbang Airport for your departure flight.
