Itinerary

Day 1Kota Kinabalu – Kota Belud – Kampung Sayap

(7:00  am — ideally)
Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Kota Kinabalu, followed by a scenic drive of about two hours and forty-five minutes to Kota Belud. The road winds through rustic villages, paddy fields, and the rural countryside, giving you a glimpse of Sabah’s everyday life. Upon arrival at Porohon Garden, you’ll be briefed on jungle safety before setting out on the trail. The hike includes rest stops before reaching Kikirison Waterfall, where camp will be set up for the night. After pitching tents, enjoy a hearty lunch by the waterfall. In the afternoon, your guides will introduce survival and bushcraft skills in preparation for the evening meal. As night falls, listen to the jungle come alive and, if the skies are clear, enjoy an unforgettable stargazing experience.

Day 2Waterfall Hike

After breakfast in camp, the trek continues to Tinuman Waterfall where you’ll have time for a refreshing swim and a bush-cooked lunch. From here, the journey leads onward to Aura Montoria. Along the way, you’ll engage in hands-on survival activities, including traditional trapping, fishing, and wilderness cooking techniques. By evening, pitch tents at the Montoria campsite and gather for a campfire cookout, complemented by locally brewed coffee. It’s a true back-to-nature evening in the heart of Borneo.

Day 3Kota Belud – Kota Kinabalu

The final morning begins with a simple breakfast before breaking camp. Trek back to Porohon Garden and transfer to Kota Kinabalu, arriving by late afternoon. Your jungle survival adventure comes to an end, leaving you with new skills, lasting memories, and a deeper connection to the wilderness.
