Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kuching

(Afternoon — ideally)

Arrive in Kuching and transfer to your hotel. Free to relax and explore at leisure.

Day 2Bako National Park

Full-day excursion to Bako National Park, famous for proboscis monkeys, mangrove trails, and dramatic coastal scenery.

Day 3Semenggoh Orangutan & Sarawak Cultural Village

Morning visit to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre to observe orangutans. Continue to Sarawak Cultural Village for performances and traditional longhouses.

Day 4Kuching to Kota Kinabalu

Check out and transfer to the airport for flight to Sabah. Arrive in Kota Kinabalu and transfer to your hotel. Free time to explore.

Day 5Island Snorkeling & Klias River Cruise

Morning snorkeling trip to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. Afternoon transfer to Klias Wetland for a river cruise, spotting proboscis monkeys and fireflies.

Day 6Kota Kinabalu to Danum Valley

Fly to Lahad Datu and transfer to Danum Valley Field Centre. Afternoon guided walk followed by an optional night drive.

Day 7Danum Valley Exploration

Jungle trek to Rhino Pool with picnic lunch. Afternoon hike to Coffin Trail to see ancient burial sites. Night walk to spot nocturnal wildlife.

Day 8Danum Valley to Kinabatangan River

Transfer to Kinabatangan River. Late afternoon river cruise to spot elephants, hornbills, and crocodiles.

Day 9Kinabatangan River Safaris

Morning and evening river cruises along Borneo’s richest wildlife corridor. Look for orangutans, proboscis monkeys, and pygmy elephants — a chance at Borneo Big 5 

Day 10Kinabatangan to Sabah Tea Garden

Travel to Sabah Tea Garden, enjoy the scenery, and relax.

Day 11Sabah Tea – Poring – Kota Kinabalu – Bungaraya Resort

Visit Poring Hot Springs with a chance to see the Rafflesia in bloom. Continue to Jesselton Point for boat transfer to Bungaraya Resort.

Day 12Island Leisure

Free day to relax on the beach or enjoy resort activities.

Day 13Island Leisure

Another day of free leisure at the resort.

Day 14Departure

Boat transfer back to Kota Kinabalu and onward transfer to the airport for departure.
