Reservation Policy

Please review our booking, payment, and refund terms before confirming your tour.

Rates, Deposits & Booking Confirmation

  • All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).

  • To confirm your reservation, a 60 % deposit is required for bookings made more than 3 months before departure. Bookings are not confirmed until this deposit has been received by Outback Venture Sdn Bhd, at which time we will issue a confirmation invoice.

  • Balance payment is due no later than 30 days before the tour start date. If full payment is not received by this date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain the deposit as a cancellation fee.

  • For last‑minute bookings (departure within 7 days), full payment is required at the time of booking and all reservations are subject to availability.

  • Deposits are non‑refundable, but if you cancel more than 60 days before departure, we will hold your deposit as a credit for a future booking. Deposit credits cannot be used for the same or similar dates and are not transferable.

Amendments

  • Changes to your booking after payment is received are subject to availability and may incur a minimum RM 50 amendment fee, plus any fees charged by third‑party service providers.

  • No amendments are permitted within 14 days of the tour start date.

Cancellation by the Customer

All cancellations must be submitted in writing and will take effect from the date they are received by Outback Venture.

The following cancellation fees apply to the total tour price (excluding any insurance products):

  • More than 60 days before departure: The deposit will be retained as credit toward a future tour. Any additional payments made will be refunded.

  • 30–59 days before departure: The deposit is retained, and 50% of the remaining balance will be refunded.

  • 15–29 days before departure: The deposit is retained, and 20% of the remaining balance will be refunded.

  • Less than 14 days before departure: No refund will be provided.

Please note: No refund is available for unused services, “no-shows,” or if a customer chooses to leave a tour after it has commenced.
