This 3-day, 2-night jungle survival adventure takes you deep into the heart of Kampung Sayap, Kota Belud. You’ll trek through lush rainforest trails, camp beside pristine waterfalls, and learn traditional bushcraft and survival skills guided by experienced local experts.
From fire-making to wilderness cooking, trapping, and even stargazing, this experience is designed to reconnect you with nature in its purest form. Nights are spent in tented camps surrounded by the sounds of the forest, while days are filled with trekking, swimming in natural pools, and immersive hands-on activities.

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Kota Kinabalu, followed by a scenic drive of about two hours and forty-five minutes to Kota Belud. The road winds through rustic villages, paddy fields, and the rural countryside, giving you a glimpse of Sabah’s everyday life. Upon arrival at Porohon Garden, you’ll be briefed on jungle safety before setting out on the trail. The hike includes rest stops before reaching Kikirison Waterfall, where camp will be set up for the night. After pitching tents, enjoy a hearty lunch by the waterfall. In the afternoon, your guides will introduce survival and bushcraft skills in preparation for the evening meal. As night falls, listen to the jungle come alive and, if the skies are clear, enjoy an unforgettable stargazing experience.
After breakfast in camp, the trek continues to Tinuman Waterfall where you’ll have time for a refreshing swim and a bush-cooked lunch. From here, the journey leads onward to Aura Montoria. Along the way, you’ll engage in hands-on survival activities, including traditional trapping, fishing, and wilderness cooking techniques. By evening, pitch tents at the Montoria campsite and gather for a campfire cookout, complemented by locally brewed coffee. It’s a true back-to-nature evening in the heart of Borneo.
The final morning begins with a simple breakfast before breaking camp. Trek back to Porohon Garden and transfer to Kota Kinabalu, arriving by late afternoon. Your jungle survival adventure comes to an end, leaving you with new skills, lasting memories, and a deeper connection to the wilderness.
