The hike takes approximately 5 to 7 hours, leading you to Panalaban (3,272m), where you’ll settle in for the night.

After enjoying the spectacular views, descend to the Via Ferrata starting point by 6:30 AM if you are participating in the Walk the Torq (WTT) activity—only for those who attended the mandatory briefing the day before.
After completing the Via Ferrata or descending directly, return to your hut for a well-deserved breakfast. Then continue your descent to Timpohon Gate, where a vehicle will transfer you back to Kinabalu Park HQ. From there, begin your return journey to Kota Kinabalu.
