Ride the exhilarating white water rapids of the Padas River Gorge, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the countryside as you journey along the river passing local villages and paddy fields. It’s a picturesque and adrenaline pumping trip. Journey down south of Kota Kinabalu to the Padas River Gorge, as we take you to the old town Beaufort to catch a train ride to Pangi Station on the oldest railroad in Borneo.
This exhilarating white water rafting is the longest rafting route in Borneo, covering a distance of 30 kilometers throughout. It is a most popular choice by our guests, as the Padas river has been rated for the best and safest rapids in South East Asia.
Recommended age for this activity is from 13 to 55 years old.
05:30am – Meet & transfer to the Beaufort Train Station.
07:30am – Upon arrival at the Beaufort, embark on a one and a half hour train ride passing through scenic countryside view. A quick stop at Rayoh station to pack up all your belongings and get suit up to a proper attire for the activity.
10:30am – Arrive at Pangi station and have some light refreshment. A safety briefing will be conducted by the river guide team before you proceed with the rafting activity.
12:30pm – Estimated time arrival at the ending point. Clean up and get ready for your lunch. Next, continue for another train ride to Beaufort.
15:45pm – Arrived at Beaufort and continue your journey back to Kota Kinabalu city center
