Kipandi Butterfly Park
Meet and picked up from the hotel at 8.30 am and drive through the Crocker Range, to the Rafflesia Information Center and the Mahua Waterfall, the highlight of the tour as you traverse up the Crocker Range enjoy the beautiful and fresh air of the countryside. Visit Kipandi Butterfly Park. Other than collection of butterflies, this park also displays the native orchids, pitcher plants, collections of beetles and flowers. Proceed to Tambunan Rafflesia Center. This center’s main purposes is for conservation effort of the remarkable Rafflesia. Participate in a jungle trek in search for the remarkable flower. Lunch. Next, continue the journey to Mahua waterfall. A short trek to lead to the waterfall will make it worth it. if you may, take a dip in a cooling water of Mahua before departing back to Kota Kinabalu city center.
