Mantanani island is great for many other marine lives and there were a lot of fish to look at from a drop at a reef point. Among many others the island is famous for its crystal clear water. Thus, it is a very famous spot for snorkeling and diving activities. Coupled with the long stretch of white sandy beach and rows coconut trees make it truly a paradise for a holiday makers.
The island consists of three islands namely Mantanani Besar, Mantanani Kecil and Lungisan off Kota Belud shores. It is accessible via road through a 1 hour and 45 minutes drive continued by another 1 hour speed boat ride.

Sample Itinerary
07:30am – Meet & greet at your hotel lobby. Embark for a 1 hour and 45min drive up north to Kota Belud town.
09:30am – Upon arrival at the Kuala Abai jetty get ready for another 1 hour boat ride to Mantanani island. It is wise to go for a toilet break before the ride.
10:00am – Depart for the island
11:00am – Upon arrival at the island get ready and hop on to the boat again for your first snorkeling session. The session will be conducted around the selected house reef.
12:30pm – Lunch at the island
01:30pm – Continue on your second snorkeling session or you may just laze around at the beach shore.
19:00pm – Dinner

07:00am – Breakfast at dining hall. Free at leisure.
10:00am – Check out from room and continue free at leisure.
12:00pm – Lunch at dining hall
15:00pm – Depart back to the mainland and travel back to Kota Kinabalu city center
