Meet at your hotel and journey for Maliau Basin traverse the scenery of Crocker Range as we drive up to Keningau. The ride takes about 4 hours, upon arriving at the Maliau Basin Study Centre (MBSC) a good chance to have a stretch, soon after registering enjoy you lunch at the pristine forest of Borneo. After checking in, join on an introductory walk surrounding the centre. Discover and learn about the biodiversity of this amazing place known as ‘Sabah’s Lost World’. Following dinner, embark on a night drive to spot for nocturnal wildlife.
Meals Lunch & Dinner
Wake up early for breakfast and get ready to be transferred to Agathis camp which is another one and a half hour by four wheel drive vehicle. Your 7.5km trek starts from Agathis Camp all the way to Nepenthes Camp. Stop for for lunch (packed lunch) along the way. Upon arrival at the camp, check in and and rest for a while. Proceed roughly 2 hours trek to Giluk Falls. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Wake for breakfast and pack up your stuff and don’t forget to collect your packed lunch. Today you will cover the 7km trek to Ginseng camp. Upon arrival settle down and proceed to Ginseng fall which is about 500m down hill trek. Return to Ginseng camp. Dinner & rest.

After breakfast not forgetting your packed lunch. Get ready for the trek to Maliau Fall. Maliau Waterfall are the most undisputed jewel of Maliau Basin famous for its seven-tiered waterfalls. Return to Ginseng Camp. Dinner and overnight.

Long day ahead, after an early breakfast hike back to Agathis Camp, which is about 6 hours hike (9km journey), and a stop for lunch break along the way. Upon arrival at Agathis Camp, get transfer back to the center (one and a half hour), and journey back to Kota Kinabalu, with an expected time arrival in Kota Kinabalu at about 8pm.
